Supposed to be: At Demotte picking up Breanna
Actually:  On the side of 41, in a van that won't run, waiting for Alyssa to come and rescue us
*The rain added a nice cheery affect to the afternoon.

Supposed to be: In Lowell, getting Rick and Cindy
Actually: Driving as fast as possible (w\o breaking speed limits) to Breanna's house
*Couldn't have done it without Liss.  She helped save the day.

Supposed to be:  Most of the way to Beecher, where the quartet was scheduled to play for a wedding.
Actually: Just leaving Lowell with all quartet members and their instruments present and accounted for.
*We were the only music in the entire wedding, and were of course, starting out the ceremony.

We arrived at the church with just enough time to flip out music stands, tune up instruments, and begin the wedding w\o looking like we were late at all.
I think God was reminding us that even with well laid plans, He still controls situations, and we need to rely on Him to make things work.
--------------------

Between the wedding and the reception (we were hired for dinner music also) there were about 3 hours. So first we went to see the set up at the banquet center where we would be playing.

It was really beautiful!

The bride told us that she didn't know if it was normal to do this, but she really wanted us to eat after we were done with the music.   We felt so special - - we even got place cards. :)

------------
Next we decided that it would be horrible to go the whole day without getting a group picture.  Unfortunately,  we didn't have anyone to take a picture - - so we had to use the timer on our camera.

Also, unfortunately, it didn't work too well - - and resulted in these two pictures.

After we gave up on taking pictures of ourselves, we stepped into a really cute restaurant where they had this neat little train set up right in the middle.
Then we did some shopping.

And saw this awesome mustang that Breanna particularly liked.

The best part of our adventure was when we went into this little guitar shop.
There was just the owner and his rather unique employee.
Noticing the way we were dressed, and upon inquiry finding out that we were a music group, they asked us to play something for them - - so we did.

Rather than bringing in the cello, Breanna just used a guitar to play her part of Celtic Canon.  It was fun, and sounded great!
The shop owner kindly took a picture of us all before we left.
